Ferrosilicon Inoculant

The amount used should be determined according to the actual situation, which has a great relationship with the virgin iron and the molten iron after melting, and should be adjusted according to the actual situation. In general, the addition amount of ferrosilicon particles for gray cast iron is 0.2~0.5%; for ductile iron, the general addition amount of ferrosilicon particles is 0.5~1.1%;
For cast iron horizontal continuous casting ductile iron, ferrosilicon particles are generally added in an amount of 0.8 to 1.5%.


Specific application of ferrosilicon inoculant:
1. Effective deoxidation during steelmaking;
2. Greatly reduce the time of steelmaking and deoxidation, save energy waste and manpower;
3. It has the effect of promoting the precipitation and spheroidization of graphite in the production of ductile iron;
